Mars rovers get pity squeegee wipes The mars rovers, which should have stopped functioning six months ago, are still rambling across the red planet thanks to their solar panels, which have been repeatedly cleaned and washed by some unknown phenomenon. NASA scientists, who are not easily fooled, are nonetheless baffled by the longevity of the rovers, although a recent stream of captured images might hold some clues: They appear to show scrawny Martian humanoids hobbling towards the rovers with dingy towels and a squeegee. This is intelligent design?

Seeds of life on Earth may have come from mars or other planets

So we know that microbes are capable of thriving under environmental conditions that we once thought could never support life. mars, it seems, is far more hospitable than some of these extreme environments on Earth, and if we're finding microbes in such environments on planet Earth, there is a very real possibility that they may be found on mars. In terms of life in the universe, I'm an optimist, because I think there is life on other planets in our solar system, not to mention the other solar systems in other galaxies in our universe.
I do support caution when it comes to possible cross-contamination between Earth and mars, but let's realize it is this cross-contamination that is most likely responsible for seeding life on Earth, mars, and other planets in other solar systems. Comets carry the seeds of microbial life. And when comets slam into planets, those seeds are not entirely destroyed. In fact, there was a recent study showing that microbes are capable of surviving these enormous impacts that scientists once thought would kill every living thing.

Humans are not yet able to go physically to mars, but we really want to know what it would be like to land on mars. So we send up the equivalent of a human explorer. Although the mars rovers don't physically resemble a human, they have functions of humans. These vehicles have cameras, which are the "eyes" that see the planet. They have vibration detectors, which are "ears" that hear the planet. They have chemical sensors, which "taste" the planet, etc. So the lander is designed with sensors that can experience mars somewhat as a human would experience it.

For many years mars, the maker of candy bars, has been one of the largesr pet food companies in the world. mars produces Pedigree dog food, Sheba and Whiskas cat food, and Waltham, which produces prescription diets that are sold primarily in veterinary clinics. In 1968 mars acquired Kal Kan, a company that dates back to 1936 when Clement L. Hirsch founded what was then Dog Town Packing Company.2 Kal Kan continues to be at the same location in Vernon, California since the acquisition.

NASA is also the organization that launched the twin robot rovers to mars, also at a cost of several hundred million dollars. Before the launch, NASA didn't bother to test the robots to see if they could take pictures without overloading their memory and constantly rebooting. NASA scientists apparently decided they would only start debugging the software that controls the mars Rover after the robot was on the surface of mars. It was a laughable mistake.

In fact, it may have been microbes from mars that catalyzed life on Earth in the first place. And that would make us all Martians, right?

And is it possible that microbes brought back from mars could imbalance or even threaten existing life on planet Earth? First of all, there are plenty of microbes right here on planet Earth that can threaten existing life on planet Earth. We have Ebola, SARS, the bird flu virus and other infectious diseases that have the perfect environment right here on Earth in which to mutate, spread and multiply. In fact, human beings are quite susceptible to being killed by viruses. Ebola has a 90% fatality rate, for example.

So the lander is designed with sensors that can experience mars somewhat as a human would experience it. But let's look a little more closely at how the mars rovers work. The rovers have antennas ("receptors") that are tuned to receive information broadcasts by a human being in the form of a NASA controller. The Earth-bound controller actually sends information that animates the Mariner on mars. But the information is not a one-way street. The NASA controller also learns from the lander, because the vehicle transmits information about its mars experiences back to Earth.

It governs the adrenal glands, muscles, gallbladder, sense of taste, red blood cells, metabolism, motor nerves, rectum, eye muscles, head, left brain, and left ear. mars is also said to govern the transmission of sexual energy from the genitals (Scorpio) to the head (Aries). Mars-governed plants may have a phallic signature. They tend to have a strong, acrid flavor, a pungent aroma, prickles and thorns, a conical tap root, and red coloring; they also tend to grow under adverse conditions and are often biennials.

When cravings strike, herbalist mars recommends sucking on cinnamon sticks, drinking tea made from anise, fennel, or licorice root, or inhaling deeply of aromatic essential oils of anise, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, fennel, nutmeg, rose, and vanilla. Other experts, including mars, praise the herb gymnema sylvestre as helpful to normalize blood sugar. "It's known as 'the sugar destroyer,' because it tends to block the body's ability to taste sweets," she says.

NASA scientists apparently decided they would only start debugging the software that controls the mars Rover after the robot was on the surface of mars. It was a laughable mistake. By some miracle, NASA scientists were able to make the rovers work, but only at great expense and while running the risk of total mission failure. NASA was a great organization back in the 1960s and pulled off some amazing feats, but today it's a joke; a bloated bureaucratic agency whose only skill seems to be burning up taxpayer dollars in the high atmospheres of various planets.

All of this reminds me of the fiasco that happened when NASA sent the rovers to mars. When the rovers first got to mars and started taking pictures, NASA suddenly discovered that, 'Gee! The onboard computer memory is getting full!' For some reason, when you actually take photos, it takes up memory. And after only a couple of days, the rovers were unresponsive because they were constantly rebooting due to the fact that their memories were full. It was as if no one had thought to actually test the rovers here on Earth before launching them into space at a cost of 800 million dollars.
Today we're having a beta launch of the mars rover. And if this one actually works, we may have an official launch many years later. But we won't actually test the spacecraft until it gets to mars. That's when we'll boot it up for the first time and see if it can manage to store digital images and send them back to Earth.' Come on, folks. This isn't rocket science. Okay, actually it IS rocket science, but these people are supposed to be the smartest geniuses on the planet.

It is no surprise that most of us are as unfamiliar with the landscapes of our physical selves as we are with the terrain of mars. So, let us gain an appreciation for how crucial information is by examining the way our own bodies work. Cells are the smallest measure of living things, so that is where we will shift our focus. Because every fiber of our material being is made from cells, our health, or lack of it, depends on how well they function. EXPLORING THE BIOLOGICAL BODY No one knows exactly how many cells make up the human body, but the numbers are beyond imagining.

Americans will soon be selected by a national lottery system and sent to live on mars, Neptune, and satellites of Saturn, where gravitational effects are apparently very weak and satellite television only has three channels, one of which is the video feed from the mars rovers. In preparation for this resettlement plan, NASA is reportedly working hard on figuring out how to launch people into outer space without exploding them.

I also believe that NASA is hiding a lot of information, especially about mars. I believe there is water on mars and there is microbial life to be found in that water, even if it's largely frozen. Every heard of extremophiles? I think NASA is withholding a lot of information from the public on many subjects. And I'd love to see all that caught on film, but the Secret NASA Transmissions video is definitely not it. I believe that a lot of what scientists say today about the universe is flat wrong. For example, scientists don't really have a good understanding of what comets are made of.

NASA's science is so bad that the organization spent $300 million to launch -- and crash -- a satellite into planet mars. One of the scientists failed to convert the metric system to the English system, and as a result, some of the navigation computations were off and $300 million went up in a cloud of red Martian dust. Last year, NASA deleted the phrase, "to understand and protect our home planet" from the NASA mission statement. Apparently, protecting Earth is not high on the priorities list for an agency that has become the Science Mythology Department of the United States government.

The American Dietetic Association (ADA) which is supported by a grant from mars, Inc. has a section on their website entitled, "Chocolate: Facts and Fiction." Although dietary sugar intake is a big factor for the millions of people who have type 2 diabetes or peripatetic conditions, the ADA advices, "If you have diabetes, ask your health professional how to incorporate chocolate into your eating plan." This sounds like "sound" medical advice. I would stay away from any of the ADA's dietary advice. You never know what kind of sickness you may develop because of it.
The announcement by mars and other candy producers that "chocolate is good for your heart" applies only to a tiny fraction of the chocolates sold, and therefore is misleading. The health claims made are part of a clever marketing campaign to sell more chocolate of any kind, knowing well that most people buy the cheapest chocolate available. The proclaimed health benefits of chocolate can, however, only be applied to fermented, roasted cocoa beans and the more expensive dark chocolate with mostly natural and healthy ingredients.
Of course, the study was sponsored by a chocolate producer, mars candy company, which was so generous to also supply the chocolates for the "study." If the study has any real value, why didn't the researchers announce that flavonoids, as found in most plant foods, such as broccoli and fruits, grape juice and, yes, also chocolate, are beneficial for your arteries? But no, they were obliged by their sponsors to announce that "chocolate is beneficial for your arteries.

Ever since Bush appointed NASA administrator Michael Griffin to the head post in 2005, NASA's scientific reputation has nosedived into the ground faster than a poorly programmed mars orbiter. The question on everybody's mind is, simply: What the heck happened to NASA? And why is the agency's top bureaucrat now officially denying that global warming is a problem?
